Thursday's Thoughts from Pastor David Dendy 11-5-26

Thursday’s Thoughts from Pastor David!
“Heading in the wrong direction?”

Have you ever been heading in the wrong direction and didn't even KNOW it? Making great time, feeling confident, enjoying the ride... only to discover you were headed toward DISASTER?

That's not just a driving problem. That's a LIFE problem!

In Ephesians 2, the Apostle Paul describes humanity's spiritual condition in one startling word: DEAD!

Not confused. Not misguided. DEAD!

But then come two of the most glorious, hope-filled, life-changing words in all of Scripture:

BUT GOD!

What happens when God's incredible mercy collides with our greatest failures? What happens when GRACE interrupts a story headed toward destruction?

This Sunday, join us at Mountain View Presbyterian Church, in person or online, for "BUT GOD! — When Mercy Gets the Last Word."

BUT GOD - Two words. Six letters. An eternity of HOPE!
