Thursday’s Thoughts from Pastor David!
Have you ever been absolutely certain you knew how something was going to end?
You saw the handwriting on the wall.
The relationship was finished.
The opportunity was gone.
The mistake was too big.
The damage had been done.
“Well… I guess that’s that.”
But what if it isn’t?
One of the most dangerous things we do is put a period where God may only have placed a comma.
We look at what has happened and assume we know what happens next. We take our worst moment, greatest failure, deepest regret, or most frightening prognosis and write two words across the bottom of the page:
THE END.
But Scripture is filled with people who thought they had reached the final page—only to discover that God was still holding the pen.
This Sunday, our “41” series takes us to one of the strangest, funniest, most surprising stories in the entire Bible. There is a clock ticking. Forty days. An ending has been announced.
Everybody knows what's coming.
Or do they?
What happens next reveals something breathtaking about the heart of God—and perhaps about the story He is still writing in your life.
So before you write THE END over something in your life...
wait.
God may not be finished writing.
Don't give up at 40.
Your 41 is coming.
Grace and peace,
Laugh often and Fear not!
David!
